Until June 30, submit short films about mental health
A festival that puts mental health in the eye of the cultural hurricane is calling on everyone's creativity. Until June 30, short films can be submitted for Psicurt, an event that does more than screen films: it opens the door to conversations that are often avoided.
Psicurt 2026, which will take place from October 3 to 11 in Reus and Tarragona, has established its reputation as a platform where psychology is expressed through images and emotions, opening doors to social awareness.
How to participate and what is at stake
The deadline and registration platform
Short films can be submitted until June 30 through the Festhome platform, which manages registration and facilitates access to cash prizes. It is not just a contest; it is an opportunity to give voice to topics often silenced.
Duration and film requirements
Films in the Official Section cannot exceed 30 minutes and must be shot in Spain. For students, there is Educurt, with a maximum duration of 15 minutes, designed for high school, ESO, and vocational training students.
The festival and parallel activities in Reus and Tarragona
The venue and the main program
The Bartrina Theater in Reus will be the closing venue on Sunday, October 11, and will also host the screening of all selected short films on October 9 and 10. Attending audiences will be able to vote for their favorites for the Audience Award.
Other activities and the cultural context
Throughout the week, parallel activities are planned that expand the festival's ecosystem, reinforcing Psicurt’s social message and its role in Mental Health Month.
