How to request the vulnerability report for the 2026 regularization
Failing to meet or prove the rest of the requirements may exclude you from the regularization process. The vulnerability report is the only card that can save you if the job or the family unit do not fit.
In Reus, since April 27, 2026, this key document for the Extraordinary Regularization for Migrant People can already be requested. The procedure is open both in person and online, through the City Council.
What is the vulnerability report and why is it key?
Function and importance of the report
The vulnerability report certifies the personal and social situation of the applicant within the regularization process. Without this paper, if the person does not prove that they have worked or have a job offer, or cannot prove living with their family unit, the regularization could come to nothing.
When should it be requested?
It is only necessary if the person cannot prove having worked as an employee or self-employed, or show intention to do so with a job offer or responsible declaration. Also if it cannot be proven that they live with the family unit formed by minors, people with disabilities, or ascendants they live with.

The regularization allows obtaining a one-year residence and work permit, starting work once the procedure is initiated, and regularizing the family unit living in an irregular situation.
The process is an opportunity but only for those who meet the requirements and have all the documentation in order. Without a vulnerability report when needed, the door closes.
