When June arrives, Reus transforms into the capital of wine and vermouth with Reus Viu el Vi, which this year celebrates its 16th edition. More than 20 wineries from 8 denominations of origin and a selection of vermouths come together to offer nearly 150 references to taste.

From June 5 to 7, the city hosts this fair, which is already a classic, with a clear commitment to highlight the wine richness and vermouth heritage of the Cambra territory.

The wineries and representation of the denominations of origin

Outstanding participation from the Regulatory Councils

This year, twenty wineries participate in the fair, mostly from the Cambra territory. They are joined by DO Conca de Barberà, Montsant, DOQ Priorat, Terra Alta, Tarragona, and Catalunya, as well as DO Cava and Penedès. This combination offers a complete and diverse panorama of what Camp de Tarragona can offer in wines.

Complete selection of wineries and vermouths

  • Agrícola Corbera d’Ebre (DO Terra Alta)
  • Celler Batea (DO Terra Alta)
  • Canals Nadal Caves i Vins (DO Penedès, DO Cava)

Additionally, the fair features a select representation of ten vermouth brands, which bring together the eight vermouths of the Cambra territory and two more guests, Casa Vermouth Padró and Dos Déus Vermouth.

Gastronomy, schedules, and access to the fair

Gastronomic offer as an essential complement

Reus Viu el Vi is not just wines and vermouths. There is also a gastronomic offer that makes your mouth water: establishments like Jaleo, Tapeo de carrer, Sabor de la Terra, or Guanyador Ganxet Pintxo bring their quality products to round out the experience.

The fair will be open on Friday, June 5 from 6 pm to 10 pm, Saturday the 6th and Sunday the 7th with morning hours (12 to 2:30 pm) and afternoon (6 to 10 pm on Saturday, 6 to 9 pm on Sunday). The access zones will be Plaça de la Llibertat and Plaça de l’Univers, with entry canceled through Plaça Anton Borrell.

To enter, you must purchase a pack according to the time slot you want to visit. Packs range from 10 to 17 euros and include tastings, a wine glass or vermouth glass, a hat, and a program. Advance purchase is made on the official website www.reusviuelvi.cat, with limited availability to control capacity.

Activities and previews that add flavor to the fair

Vermouth Showcase and family activities

The 7th Vermouth Showcase of Reus returns to be the highlight on Saturday and Sunday at midday, with emblematic brands such as Cori, Iris, Or del Camp, and Padró i Família. There will also be DJs throughout the fair, including a special session by Miqui Puig on Sunday afternoon.

Preview activities to warm up

  • May 25: Tasting of recovered varieties from the territory with Joan Carrion, sommelier and journalist.
  • June 1: "Shameless Tasting" at Fira Centre Comercial, a meeting where wine is the excuse to connect people and groups.

Reus Viu el Vi is, without a doubt, the wine and vermouth festival that turns the city into a meeting point for lovers of good wine, culture, and gastronomy.
