The ICAC triples space in Tarragona with 6.3 million to rehabilitate the Tabacalera

The Government allocates 6.36 million euros to transform Warehouse 6 of the Tabacalera in Tarragona into the new headquarters of the Catalan Institute of Classical Archaeology (ICAC). This investment will triple the current area of the research center and renovate an emblematic industrial building.

The project, which will take place between 2027 and 2029, will turn this space into a nerve center for classical archaeology, with facilities designed to boost research and scientific dissemination.
