This area stands out for its concentration of major companies and a very active business atmosphere, which fits with the brand’s strategy, aiming to attract office workers with its offer of fresh and practical products.
Next to Mercadona and big corporations
The new Ametller Origen store is located right next to a Mercadona, one of the giants in the distribution sector. Beyond that, companies such as Nestlé, Coca-Cola, Bioibérica, and Euromadi have a presence on the same avenue, making this area a key hub for the daily consumption of thousands of workers and residents.

In 2025, the group invoiced 802 million euros, an 18% increase compared to the previous year. Approximately 90% of this turnover comes from in-store sales. In Catalonia and Andorra, the 147 stores – nearly 50 in the city of Barcelona – registered 713 million, a 19% increase, showing the strength of the model based on proximity and freshness.
